How to Set Up a USDT (TRC20) Wallet

New to crypto wallets? No problem. Here's a simple, step-by-step way to get a USDT wallet ready to receive your cashback — no experience needed.

We recommend Trust Wallet, a free, widely-used wallet that supports USDT on the TRON (TRC20) network. You're not required to use it — any wallet that supports USDT on TRC20 works.

1. Install Trust Wallet from an official store

Download it only from the official App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), or from trustwallet.com. Search results and ads sometimes show fake copies — always check the publisher name before installing.

2. Create a new wallet

Open the app and choose to create a new wallet. Write down the recovery phrase (a list of 12 or 24 words) on paper and store it somewhere safe and offline. Anyone with this phrase can access your funds — CB-Dogs will never ask you for it, and neither will anyone else legitimate.

3. Find USDT

In the wallet's asset list, search for "USDT" (Tether). If it isn't already added, tap to add it as a token.

4. Make sure the network is TRON (TRC20)

USDT exists on several different networks. CB-Dogs only pays out on TRON (TRC20). When you open USDT in Trust Wallet, check that the network shown is TRON — most wallets let you add USDT on more than one network, so double-check before continuing.

5. Tap "Receive" and copy your address

From the USDT (TRC20) screen, tap Receive. Your address will be shown as text and a QR code. It always starts with the letter "T" and is 34 characters long. Tap to copy it.

6. Paste it into your CB-Dogs settings

Go to Settings → Payout wallet in your CB-Dogs account, paste the address, and save.

Confirm by email

After you save your address, we'll send a confirmation link to your email. Click it to activate the wallet. For security, withdrawals are paused for 24 hours after a wallet change.

Please keep in mind

  • Never send or receive using an ERC20 (Ethereum) or BEP20 (BNB Chain) address for CB-Dogs payouts — we only support TRC20 (TRON). Sending to the wrong network can result in permanently lost funds.
  • Never share your recovery phrase (seed phrase) with anyone, including anyone claiming to be from CB-Dogs support.
  • If you're ever unsure, most wallets and services let you test with a small amount first.
  • You don't need to hold any TRX (TRON's own coin) to receive USDT — receiving USDT on TRC20 costs the recipient nothing.
