Disclosure: CB-Dogs earns a commission (IB rebate) from brokers for accounts opened or linked through us and pays part of it back to you as cashback. This does not change your trading costs.

If you've ever waited days for an international bank transfer, lost part of a withdrawal to e-wallet fees, or simply don't have a bank account that accepts payments from abroad, you've probably wondered whether there's a better way to receive something like forex cashback. There is: USDT on the TRON network (TRC20).
This guide explains why CB-Dogs pays cashback only in USDT (TRC20), how a payout works step by step, and how long it realistically takes.
The short version
CB-Dogs pays all cashback as USDT (Tether) on the TRC20 network only — never by bank transfer, card or e-wallet.
- USDT is a stablecoin designed to track the US dollar, so you aren't taking on the price swings of other cryptocurrencies.
- TRC20 is the network the USDT travels on (TRON). It's one of several networks USDT runs on, chosen because it's typically cheap and fast for payouts like these.
- You receive, we send. Once your withdrawable balance reaches the minimum, you request a withdrawal and we send USDT to your own TRC20 address. Receiving it costs you nothing.
Why USDT instead of a bank transfer or e-wallet?
No bank account or card required
Not every trader has a bank account that accepts international transfers, and small recurring payments from abroad can be awkward to receive. A USDT wallet only needs a smartphone and a free wallet app — no bank relationship or card.
No bank-corridor problems
Bank transfers can be rejected, delayed or flagged depending on the countries involved, and some banks are cautious about incoming payments labelled as trading-related. A TRC20 address works the same way wherever you are; the network doesn't route through correspondent banks.
Typically faster settlement
International wires often take several business days. Transfers on the TRON network typically settle in minutes once sent. Network conditions vary, so treat this as a structural advantage, not a promised delivery time.
Why TRC20 specifically (not ERC20 or BEP20)?
USDT exists on several blockchains. TRC20 is generally among the cheapest and fastest of the common options for frequent, moderate-sized payouts, which is why CB-Dogs — like many rebate and affiliate programs — standardizes on it.
The practical takeaway for you: the address you give us must be a TRC20 (TRON) USDT address, not an Ethereum (ERC20) or BNB Chain (BEP20) one. For the full comparison, see TRC20 vs ERC20 vs BEP20.
How does a payout work, step by step?

1. Cashback is credited after the broker pays us
As you trade on an account opened through CB-Dogs, your closed volume is tracked through the broker's IB reporting — you don't submit anything per trade. Once the broker pays us the IB commission for that activity, your share is credited to your CB-Dogs balance.
2. It becomes withdrawable after a confirmation period
Credited cashback unlocks after a confirmation period that depends on the broker. For XM, it's 7 days after crediting.
3. You request a withdrawal
When your withdrawable balance reaches the minimum (currently 10 USDT), you can request a payout. You don't have to withdraw straight away — many traders let the balance build to avoid the fee below.
4. We send USDT to your TRC20 address
You register your own TRC20 USDT receiving address (our wallet setup guide shows where to find it), and CB-Dogs sends the USDT there once your request is processed.
Receiving USDT on TRC20 costs you nothing, and you don't need to hold TRX (TRON's native coin) just to receive it. TRX — or "energy" — only matters later, if you want to send USDT from your wallet to somewhere else.
5. Fees: fee-free from 50 USDT, a flat fee below it
Withdrawals below 50 USDT carry a flat 3 USDT fee to cover network costs; withdrawals of 50 USDT or more are fee-free. To test this with your own numbers, use the calculator:
1 standard lot = 100,000 units of the base currency.

How long does it actually take?
The blockchain transfer itself is quick. The longer part is the wait before cashback becomes withdrawable, because two things must happen first:
- The broker pays CB-Dogs the commission for your trading. We can't pay out money we haven't received — every legitimate rebate service works within this delay, whether or not it says so.
- The confirmation period passes — for XM, 7 days after your cashback is credited.
For XM, this typically adds up to around three to four weeks from the original trade to a withdrawable balance. It's an operating guide, not a guarantee, since broker reporting schedules can vary.
Referral earnings follow the same logic: they unlock 7 days after the corresponding cashback becomes withdrawable. (Referral earnings are paid from CB-Dogs' share, so they never reduce the referred trader's cashback.)
Do I need a crypto wallet already?
No prior crypto experience is needed. A free wallet app that supports USDT on TRC20 takes a few minutes to set up, and you don't need to buy any cryptocurrency first. Our wallet setup guide walks through creating a wallet, finding your TRC20 receiving address and checking it before your first withdrawal.
What if I don't want to hold crypto?
You don't have to. Many traders treat USDT purely as a fast payment rail and convert it to local currency through a local exchange or peer-to-peer platform soon after it arrives. Whether you hold, convert or spend it is up to you; CB-Dogs' role ends once the payout reaches your wallet.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Registering the wrong kind of address. If your wallet shows several networks for USDT, copy the address for TRC20 / TRON — it starts with "T". Never register an Ethereum or BNB Chain address starting with "0x". A payout sent to the wrong kind of address usually can't be reversed. See TRC20 vs ERC20 vs BEP20.
- Changing your address right before a payout. As a security measure, withdrawals are paused for a short period after an address change (currently 24 hours), so update it well before you plan to withdraw.
- Requesting less than the minimum. Withdrawals under 10 USDT aren't processed; let your balance build past the minimum first.
- Signing up after opening your broker account. Cashback is only tracked on accounts opened through CB-Dogs. If you already have an XM account, see how to open an additional XM account.
