How to Get Forex Cashback: A Step-by-Step Guide from Sign-Up to Withdrawal
To get forex cashback with CB-Dogs, register, open a new XM (XMTrading) or Exness account through our broker page, submit the trading account number for approval, trade, and withdraw the credited cashback in USDT on TRC20. Cashback is 60% of the IB commission the broker actually pays.

Disclosure: CB-Dogs receives an advertising (referral) fee — sometimes called an IB commission — from brokers for accounts opened or linked through us, and returns part of it to you as cashback, the same model used by cashback and points sites. This does not change your trading costs.

Getting forex cashback is mostly about doing a few things in the right order. Get the order wrong, and the account you trade on is not linked to us, which means no cashback. This guide is the overview of the whole journey, for both brokers we support: XM (XMTrading) and Exness. Where a step has its own detailed guide, we link to it.
Key takeaways
- The order is: register at CB-Dogs, open a new broker account through our broker page, submit the trading account number, get approval, trade, then withdraw.
- Only accounts opened under CB-Dogs' partner account can be linked; an account opened directly at the broker cannot be moved to us.
- Cashback is 60% of the IB commission the broker actually pays for your account, per lot traded, whether the trade wins or loses.
- Cashback is credited after the broker reports and pays, then held briefly; typically about 3-4 weeks from trade to withdrawable for XM and 2-3 weeks for Exness (guides, not promises).
- Withdrawals are USDT on TRC20 only, 10 USDT minimum, a 3 USDT fee under 50 USDT and free at 50 USDT or more.
Step 1: Register with CB-Dogs
Create your CB-Dogs account and verify your email. During registration you confirm your country of residence, because some countries are not eligible for regulatory reasons. Do this before you open any broker account.
Step 2: Open a new broker account through our broker page
From the broker page, XM or Exness, use the open-account button. That click attaches our partner link, and the broker records the new account under CB-Dogs. Pick the account type that suits your trading; the current cashback for each type is shown here:
| Account type | Rebate / lot (USDT) |
|---|---|
| StandardSpread-based account, no commission. | 1.8 |
| MicroShown per micro lot (1,000 units), which is 1/100 of a standard lot, so the amount is 1/100 of the Standard amount. | 0.018(1 micro lot = 1,000 units) |
| KiwamiXM's tightened-spread account tier available in select regions. Our rebate for this account type is still being confirmed with XM and will be added here. | Rate to be confirmed |
| ZeroCommission-based account. Rebate is paid in addition to the raw spread, and the commission you pay is unaffected. Our rebate for this account type is still being confirmed with XM and will be added here. | Rate to be confirmed |
Provisional rate
| Account type | Rebate / lot (USDT) |
|---|---|
| StandardNo separate commission — Exness pays partners a share of the spread. The estimate below is for EURUSD at our current partner rank; GBPUSD and gold (XAUUSD) typically pay more per lot, tighter-spread pairs less. Rates rise automatically as our trading volume with Exness grows. | 0.96 |
| ProNo separate commission — Exness pays partners a share of the spread, at a lower percentage than Standard. We don't yet have a reliable per-instrument estimate for this account type, so no figure is shown; your cashback is still 60% of the actual commission Exness pays us. | 0.0 |
| ZeroCommission-based account with near-zero raw spreads. The estimate below is for EURUSD at our current partner rank; other instruments vary. Cashback is paid in addition to the raw spread and does not affect the commission you pay Exness. | 0.25 |
| Raw SpreadCommission-based account with raw interbank spreads. Exness pays partners a fixed amount per lot that varies by instrument; we don't yet have a reliable figure to show, so no estimate is listed — your cashback is still 60% of the actual commission Exness pays us. | 0.0 |
Provisional rate
Exness figures are estimates because the commission depends on spreads and partner level; actual cashback is the commission actually received multiplied by 60%.
Detailed walkthroughs: XM and Exness. To choose a type, see XM account types compared and Exness account types explained.
Step 3: Submit the trading account number
Once the broker emails you the MT4/MT5 login, open Trading accounts in your CB-Dogs profile and submit the broker, account type and account number. This submission is the "link". Use the trading account number, not the broker profile ID, and the email registered at the broker helps us match it faster.
Step 4: Wait for approval
We check the account against the broker's records, usually within 24 hours and at most 2 business days. A very new account can take longer to show up on the broker's side. You receive an email when it is approved. If it is rejected, the reason is usually that the account is not under our partner account, cannot be found, or the email does not match. See how to check that your XM account is linked.
Step 5: Fund the account and trade
Fund the account and trade as you normally would. Cashback does not change your spread, commission or execution; it is paid separately from the commission the broker pays us (see how forex rebates work). Only closed lots count, and profit or loss does not matter.
Step 6: Cashback is credited
The broker reports and pays the commission on its own cycle, then we credit your balance, which is held briefly before it is withdrawable. Typical time from trade to withdrawable is about 3-4 weeks for XM and 2-3 weeks for Exness; these are guides, not promises. Details: when is forex cashback paid.
Step 7: Set your wallet and withdraw
Add your USDT wallet address in your account settings. Withdrawals are USDT on the TRC20 (TRON) network only. Sending to another network loses the funds, so see TRC20 vs ERC20 vs BEP20 and the TRC20 wallet address explained.
- Minimum withdrawal: 10 USDT.
- Fee: 3 USDT per withdrawal under 50 USDT; free at 50 USDT or more.
- Changing your wallet pauses withdrawals for 24 hours as a security measure.
Because of the fee, it often makes sense to let the balance grow past 50 USDT before withdrawing.
Common mistakes
- Opening the account directly at the broker. The account is then under no partner, or another one, and we cannot link it. If you already have an account, open an additional one through our link; see the additional XM account guide.
- Expecting an existing account to be moved. Brokers generally do not reassign accounts to a different partner.
- Closing trades within 5 minutes at XM. XMTrading's publicly available partner terms do not count trades of 5 minutes or less, along with a few other cases, so no cashback is paid on them. See trades excluded from XM cashback.
- Using the wrong network for USDT. Only TRC20 is supported.
- Submitting the wrong number. Submit the MT4/MT5 account number, not the profile ID.
- Using a demo account. Demo trading generates no commission and no cashback.
- Self-referral. The introducer's own accounts are not eligible under broker terms; use the link only for your own account.
Frequently asked questions
Usually not. The partner is recorded when the account is opened, and brokers generally do not move it. Open an additional account through the CB-Dogs link and submit that number instead.
